This is our 10th year of supplying 100 or more decorative bags of comfort items to the chemotherapy patients at Mary Bird Cancer Center in Covington, LA. Volunteers sew the bags with fabric donated by the Hosanna Quilters.  Filler items such as fleece blankets , lotion, cozy socks, hats, puzzle books, memo pads, journal books, and mint candies are donated by church members.  This ministry has touched the lives of many cancer patients over the years and given them some comfort during a difficult time.  These bags are our way of sharing God’s love to our neighbor.
